Hello everyone,
I have recently received my v2. I have removed the torque reduction in the traction control (I think), calibrated the speedo, and changed the PE setting. I had a few issues with getting the v2 to flash but eventually got it to work. Luckily it did not work at first because I had forgotten to save my stock tune. I am having trouble getting the scan tune to work. I will make some more adjustments once I get it to work.
My truck is a 06 2500 8.1 w/ 6 speed allison. I have it converted to propane. I would like to increase the timing a little to take advantage of the higher octane of propane. The truck runs on both gas and propane so I was wondering if there is a way to switch the high octane curves (one for gas and one for LP). I want to avoid any detonation on gasoline. (I rarely run it on gasoline though.)
I have been searching but have found little on the 8.1 so any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a little overwhelmed by this process and am still trying to figure out how everything works. I am not even sure if I posted in the right forum.
Thanks
-John
