So I got a new job working on cars. I am very thankful to God that it's a good and solid job and one where I have no excuses and it's way above my league and I can learn a lot. It's a position as an Audi technician at the best and biggest shop here and we also sell and service Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Jaguar and Aston Martin.
The bad news obviously is that it's not a GM dealer although it's the best job I could possibly dream of and I am very happy. I was wondering, what do you guys think about the technology of Audi and what can I possibly learn that will best help me with tuning and stuff that really matters :)
Just looking for some thoughts on how to approach this because I really have to dive into the world of Lambo engines and direct injection and tiny turbos and small diesels to fit in and make a living for my family and be successful at this privilege of an opportunity.
Please, only comment if you have something encouraging to say, it's pretty obvious that a nut and bolt is a nut and bolt and electricity and internal combustion engines all work on the same principles. I am nervous and unfamiliar to this new world but looking forward to excelling at it and using the experience I gain to be a better EFILIVE GM tuner
Here is a little video to inspire wise comparisons between the two worlds - and screw Clarkson!
