OK, Guys, I just bought a 2004 1/2 Duramax with a DSP2 switch on it. I did not like the two tunes that were on the truck, one was a lope tuneand had plenty of power, but limped the tranny, the other got no fuel economy.
My friend has EFI live and we bought a license for my truck.
When trying to install a tune he had been using on other trucks, we could not get rid of the lope.
Unless we used a stock tune.
Here is my question, His tunes do not have lope, so how are we still getting the lope carried over to his tunes. Is the DSP2 not set up properly (overlapping someway)?
It worked OK between the original two tunes that were on the truck.
Like I said I'm new to this and he has been doing it for a while on his truck and a couple others. We're just having trouble with mine.:angel_innocent:
