Hey guy's.. wondering if anyone would know what the correct PPk values is with an A6 using 3.45 gears. I just swapped out my 2.92's and im pretty sure the speedo is reading a few km's slow.. I have changed everything else in both the TCM & ECM that had values of 2.92 to 3.45

Cheers Ryan

As mentioned over at www.ls1.com.au....

The PPK value is not a set figure. It needs to be calculated from the other calibration figures dealing with the speedo settings....

Stock settings may be as follows
{H0101} Vehicle Speed Sensor Pulses per Kilometer: 49257
{H0102} Vehicle Speed Sensor Pulses per Revolution: 36
{H0103} Final Drive Ratio: 2.92
{H0136} Tire Revolutions Per Kilometer: 478

The basic relationship is
PPK=TRPK*FDR*PPR
However, to ensure the car meets ADR's, the speedo is fudged to read slightly high ( to ensure it can't read low ). So the final equation is more like...
]PPK=(TRPK*FDR*PPR)/1.02
So in your case, all you "should" need to do is plug in the new FDR value and calculate the final PPK.
