I want my 4L80E to hold manual 1 and 2 as long as the shifter is in those ranges regardless of engine RPM or VSS. I have set D0913, D0918, and D0919 to 255 MPH. I also set D0914 to 0 MPH. I did a quick drive last night and in manual 1, part throttle, it upshifted into 2nd. I am wondering if those parameters are for WOT only?

Also I made a few hydraulic mods to firm and quicken all three upshifts. I have all desired shift times set to 0. I am well pleased with the shift feel but am afraid of trans adapts reducing line to slow the shifts back down, ultimately creating a low line/ poor clutch holding condition. By setting D1108, D1109, D1110 to 0, have I eliminated adaptive learning?

Thanks, Brint

No, those are for part throttle, regardless of throttle, other than D0914 which has TP on its x axis.

Try with D0960 set to 100% all across, maybe on coming out of kickdown it triggers 2nd <- I really don't think that's it.

I'm wondering is this is another of the 4L80E segment's built-in "programming".

Thanks, Brint You can increase the shift pressure tables more, get to 60 psi by 295 ftlb, 75 psi by 384 ftlb, 90 psi by 413 ftlb; also can add some to the flat spots just after zero torque if you want some feel at low torque... you can further refine feel by adjusting D0802.

D1108,9,10 set to zero are supposed to disable adaptive shift learning.
