Ok, so I've been running a 2002 OS 6.0/4l80e tune in my 2000. I've got the tune pretty much perfect.

Now, I need to get OBDII emissions, and for some odd reason the readiness tests simply will not become supported with the 2002 PCM/OS in my 2000.

I've rigged up a 2000 OS 6.0/4l80e tune and now all the readiness tests are ready to be done. However, the damn thing barely starts and the second I put it into gear it pulls the RPMs down and dies. I'm boggled because I've copied over basically all the 2002 fueling/spark/etc tables on which the engine runs just like stock. I don't have a wideband in the exhaust at this time, and wont be able to so that's out of the question.

It would be great it anyone could take a look at these two tunes and maybe point out any discrepancies as to why the 2002 OS works perfect whereas the 2000 does not. Thanks.

Is this with the 222/226 cam?
Desired airflow is alittle low with that cam, comparing to a stock 1344 OS,it is still at factory values.IAC effect steps look to be a lower value than a factory 1344 OS as well.

Would having B3607 (Open Loop Lean Limit-Idle) EQ of 0.0 create the problems you are describing?

In your 2002 OS it is an EQ of 1.0. In your 2000 OS it is 0.0.

I have never totally understood that parameter..but I do not think it is just for 'Open-Loop'. It probably is for Idle.

Just a thought....

Yep, it's with that cam. Regarding the tables you are referring to, I basically just copied over the 2002 values. I will try reverting back to the stock values and see what happens.

Thanks for the input. I have changed that and will see what happens.

Those changes definitely did the trick. Truck still ran rough, but good enough it wouldn't die.
