95 buick problem

Hi I have your trial copy for now. After I get it working I would like to get your full copy.
But Im having problems and heres what they are:
I purchased a aldl to usb cable from aldlcables.com
I got all the drivers installed correctly
When I try to connect it shows a green circle on the chatter but a red one on the max232 one. When I hit the connect it shows red things with some green lines too.
Sorry Im a newbie to the obd1.5
This is for a 95 buick riviera 3.8sc

Hi Shawn, I moved your thread to the V4 section.

Click the "Automatically detect chatter" button.
Then, turn on View->Serial I/O, then click the "Start Aldl" button.
Then copy the red/green text from the display (right click and select "Copy All") and paste them into this thread.
