Aaron:

What type of heads and valve-train set-up do you have?

I don't run that cam, but I can't believe the shift points would be that low..

It forgen ls1 with 317 heads with 918 springs and stock rockers. The cr on the motor 9.2. It also has 80e behind it. All i know when get up around 6k doesn't feal right and feals like the motor is out of power to carry the truck to second gear. See above for the log file.

Something is wrong... is that the 2->3 shift were looking at...?

Looks like PCM is short shifting for some reason;

Try with D0961, D0962 set to 100%.... D0961 may be interfering with the 2->3 WOT upshift.

Add the pids GEAR, TCCMODE, DYNAIR for your next log.

LS6 cam should be good to a little over 6000 rpm.

Are you getting a MAF DTC (you should)...?

BTW: The 105kPa columns in your VE tables are not exactly equal.

yea your looking at the right thing. I though i was in first gear and it was hanging up or didn't have enough power to shift into second. All i know is it doesn't feel right when get up close to 6k mark. I will add those pids and post back.

You have to spin the LS6 cam up to at least 6600 rpms to really take advantage of the power it makes. Power will peak about 6000 rpms and carry nearly flat to 6600 which it where it shines.

Joecar,
Still wouldn't shift out first so i let off. The wired part was 2nd to third pull where the rpm go up and drop little bit then go back up. Yes i sure getting maf dtc and have turned off in mil i think. I even turned down the shirt point to 5600 and didn't even shift at that. Here is my log file.

If it won't shift 1->2 unless you back off, try setting D0940 to 5500 rpm.

How big a stall do you have...?

From DrkPhx's comment (LS6 cam peak carries upto 6600 rpm), you should be able to shift that high.

Set D0940,45,50 to 5500 rpm and see if you get it shifting...

If you get it shifting, then raise either D0940,45,50 and/or D0910,15,20 until you get your desired shift points...

You will have to raise the rev limiters B3303 above the shift points.

How high can you spin your motor...? You can get the fastest ET if you shift as high as possible.

The motor is good up to 7grand but right now it doesn't feel right at the upper rpm specaily when get stuck up there because the trans won't shift. The stall is only 2500 stall with 80e. I just want shift at 5600 and move up little and tune it from there. What bugs me that all these trans setting are from my old 5.3. Tune and shift little over 6k with no issue. This what I get for building a motor that can take beating and been nothing but issues.
