Is it possible to run 2002-2005 2.2ltr Ecotec engine's in OL-mode? I just built a stand-alone harness and I'm trying to figure out if it's even possible to run these motor's without an O2 sensor...I wonder If I unplug O2 sensor if it will just default to OL...
Anyone?

I think my P10 defaulted to open loop when I unplugged the O2 sensor, maybe try unplugging it and see what the fuel system mode is in the Scan tool.

Thats your only option. Im running mine in open loop no problems . Just disconnect the o2. Watch it with a wideband.

Also some guys are swapping in a 97-02 L4 big pcm from a s10 or cavalier, and running there ecotec with it.

To bad you dont have the other tuning software. You could flash in a factory LD9 supercharger file, from a cavalier. It would be great for what your running, being a standalone.

Using the P11 PCM? Thats a good idea too...

Ya if you are using efilive then I would run a 97-02 pcm. I dont think it is a p11 though. I thought the p11 was the 02-05 ecotec. But there are some better tables in the 97-02 pcm. If you use a flex fuel file, injector flow rate is in there. Efilive forgot to include injector flow rate in the non flex 97-02 pcm. Also from what I see there is no injector flow rate in the 02-05 ecotec pcm supported either.
