Since the AutoCal does not have a provision for a WBO2 ( sad about that )
would it be possible to bring the data in through the PC and into the scan tool software??

How?

Probable the same way the guys do it with the cheap version of the "other" brand tuning software. They wire the WB to the AC pressure input or the EGR input and convert them for the WB 0-5v reading in the scanner with a calculated PID.

Damn that's clever...

Hell Yeah!!!

I think that method would only be good for LS1 based systems right?

Not sure why it couldn't be used with any non-essential 0-5v sensor on any platform, but LS1 based systems are the most WB tuned systems anyway, right?

I was thinking more like convincing Paul to modify the software to allow an outside serial input.

I tried to convince during BETA testing but no go....

I'm just now reading this, and that's sad. I'd like to tell a customer that they could pipe in their wbo2 for logging. Any other solutions?

An outside serial input is like everyone else is doing it.

wayneosan no offense but did you read/understand this thread ? KBracing96 has an analog method to log WBO2.
The only real debate is if we can get a SERIAL connection like we already have on the V2.

Who is doing this with the AutoCal and how ?

Well... they gather the SDK from logworks and read the USB connection or Serial connection from a connected unit on the LC1 THROUGH the PC.

Just like datascan does it for nissans. It shouldn't be hard to implement since EFI people already know the serial data from innovate. They just have to listen to an available com port.

OK.......so how do you get the data from log works into the EFI Live Scan Tool in real time ??

EFI live doesn't have any PC PIDs ?? Out put it from the PC and back into the V2 ??

I misunderstood at first.

Good now.
