Got a query .
Requested a 7.4L tun and someone was gracious enough to post one for me , thanks again .
I opened the file yesterday because the guy is getting ready to fire up the install , was going to copy some tables to a existing 2000 tun build , and noticed a value was completely different , Cylinder Volume is expressed in Gallons (7.4L) and Cubic Inches in the other , just curious as to why one is Gallons and not Cubic Inches , I did look and try and change the units to match but the one file does not have any matching units as the other .
Not familiar with older stuff .
Is it because one is a Truck ?
Prec(IM) column value is , 3 Gallons , and looking at others it is 2 CI .
Is there a revised .calz for the 16265175 OS ?

Hello Chevy366,

OS16265175 is for the black box Vortec style PCM. B0104 (cylinder volume) in this generation of OS, whether it’s for a one ton Big Block (like you have) or a V6 S10, display as litres or gallons.

Your 7.4L will probably display 0.925 L as the cylinder volume, which is equal to 925 CC.

Taz

Thanks Taz
Well , will try and convince the guy to convert to the LS1b style of PCM , he doesn't understand PCMs that well so might be a hard sell .
Seems that OS is shy on some of the outlined parameters .
