Paul recently explained that the V2 Serial number can be separate from the
License number if the customer so wishes. i.e. one shop with multiple V2s
So the question is a stream attached to the serial or license number ?
Can one stream be purchased for the shop and used on all devices in the
shop ?

I that's a no, every V2 needs it's own stream. The license number being the same just means that matching V2s can unlock each others built in lock codes, nothing else.

What is a built in lock code ??

I think it is used when you allow the V2 to create its own lock code for locking PCM's. You would need to you that specific V2 to unlock the PCM that was locked with it.

OOOOooooo......k that makes a lot of sense so if your V2 gets broken EFI Live can send you a
new one with your old License number on it so you are not Locked out of your own PCMs

Now they are using it on AutoCals which are by nature locked.
