Help merging two tunes,different VIN, same OS

I need to get the first tune data on the second tune because I only have a vin license for the second tunes vin. Is there an easy way without going line by line???

File->Open on the 2nd file.
File->Load Alternate on the 1st file.
File->Show Calibration Differences.
ctrl-A to highlight all differences.
Update.
Save 2nd file with new name.
Full flash it in (full flash this one time only).

License attaches to ECM serial number and not to VIN, so you're ok... you could do this instead:
-full flash 2nd file.
-cal only flash first file.
-read PCM and save with new filename.

It is my buddies truck. He got a mail tune sent to him on another ECM. the tuner used a different ecm and vin, so I can't alter his new computer. I changed all the tune parameters line by line and I'll have him install the old ecm and I'll flash the changes to it. I think this will work. When is a full flash needed? THANKS!!!

A full flash is need when:
- changing OS;
- changing segment(s);
- changing transmission type;
- changing throttle type;
- changing other internal stuff.

If your 2nd file is already from the same vehicle, then no need for full flash:
i.e. in post #1 you can do a cal only flash, in post #2 you can skip the full flash.
