New to EFI, and having Laptop issues

:help2: Hello all!! Im new here, so please bear with me. Im not sure if this is the correct place to post this. I just bought the EFI Live system, and i'm having an issue getting it downloaded onto my laptop. It will run the cd, and bring up the install guide, but it wont install it. It brings up an error message saying windows cant run the system. But the funny thing is that it worked on my buddys computer without an issue. Which sucks because its not a laptop. Please if anyone can help that would be great. Dustin from Diesel Addiction sent me here in hopes to get me up and running. Thanks for the future help!!!! :grin:

What error do you get when you try to install it?

Can you download and install this? http://download.efilive.com/Software/V7.5/EFILiveV7.5.6.130_Setup.exe

and this: http://download.efilive.com/Software/V8/EFILiveV8.1.2.111_Setup.exe

What OS is the computer running?

Make sure anti-virus & firewall is configured properly. ;)

Ira thanks for those links!! Was able to download both, and now I have 4 EFI Icons on my desktop. I hope that everything is on that I need. And Mr. Prick my os is windows vista. Thanks again for the help!! I'm sure I'll be back on here alot more trying to figure it all out.
