Is there any indication if a filter is applied or not?

Where are the filters stored?

The filter icon will appear "depressed".
White with a border around it.

Also if you float the cursor over the filter icon you will see which filter is or will be active.
This will be at the bottom of the screen under the fast forward buttons. ;)

hmm hi mate. cabin air filter or acc cabin filter is typically a pleated-paper filter that is placed in the outside-air intake for the vehicle's passenger compartment. Some of these filters are rectangular and similar in shape to the combustion air filter. hope it helps. :DAre you sure about this...?!!?
