Ive seen this before , particularly on utes and I'm still bewildered as to what's going on , particularly as it's the last thing you want to see in a FI car .( this example is std engine tuned mafless )

Post your ideas as I'm keen to hear what you guys think .

I tweaked the VVE table to get the AF/R's I want to see , multiple runs to determine MBT with knock box etc etc.

Almost perfect AF/R's with DVT set to open loop fueling , ( commanded vs actual ) so pretty happy, go into DVT section , enable closed loop , enable fuel trim learn to make sure it all works as supposed to. ( i.e. PE mode enabling at WOT etc )

"re-sensitised" knock sensor parameters and was ready for a final run to see where we're at, and I get this .

8919

Almost like it's learning in PE mode , however LTFT show otherwise. :doh2:

Not sure what the question is,
but LTFT's are ALWAYS active whether in PE mode or not - -2.3 in your case which is contributing to the mixture leaning out and hence the accompaning knock.
To match Commanded with Actual AFR you have to ensure LTFT's are 0 . (VE way out in this example)
You also need to sort the Burstknock as well
Need to get PE enabled a bit quicker (B0156) too.
