I know V8 has been in the works for a while. Questions I have is what will be the biggest advantages of V8 over V7?

When V8 is fully complete it will be a whole new scan tool and editor as well, not just what V8 is doing now. We are just slowly migrating from one to the other.

Can you elaborate on any additional features we can expect in Version 8?

I'l be glad when V8 transition occurs, if for no other reason than to quit d/loading V7.5.6 xxx and V8 each time there is an update. I don't know what V8 even does so far.....i guess it contains new firmware (which I update everytime) and it must contain EFI Explorer.....other than that.....most everything in V8 is not released yet. I did use it to enable BB to flash....and that just happened recently.
