SPARK DWELL TIME
Has anyone ever changed this? Are there any gains to be had (stronger spark), or will it just melt the coils? What can I monitor to see which direction I am going with this? Or is is just for aftermarket coils? Thanks!

After a coil is saturated it won't spark any stronger, but it will overheat.
The only way to tell is to observe spark using a spark tester while you vary the dwell time.
I don't know how close to optimal the spark dwell tables would be.
If you change coils (e.g. to the truck coil which has the heatsink) then you would copy the dwell table from that truck calibration.
