MAFFLESS mod ,,, how to??

guys im new at this stuff ,, can anyone help on showing me how to just go maffless on a 2010 ve ss ute m6???
was told stting maff signals to zero upper and lower thresholds do it ,, but what about os system??? does that have to be upgraded to enable high and low spark tables???
