I am using the export data function a fair bit these days when doing calculations & thought of a few things that could improve this function.
One is that you cannot export data while filters are active, & you need to manually erase the bad data before doing so. Allowing only an export of the filtered data will help to speed things up in this regard.
Also I would like to be able to export the data back into a log file. This way we could do a simple cell shift with our wideband afr to remove the couple of frames lag that the o2 sensor has.
Is this something that V8 will address?

Looking through some old posts, I could make a calc pid from the frame numbers to offset wideband data. Using the lookup() function referencing the rpm pid we may be able to offset the frames by different amounts at different exhaust gas speeds. I wll have a play & see what I come up with.
