WHY does the shift point correction routine associate with tire size?? That makes no sense to me, as you would not want shift points changed just because tire size was changed. You would instead make changes to the speedo params (h0102 and on) so that shift point DON'T change.
Am I off in my rationalle?

That's exactly what the shift point correction does (at least that's what it is supposed to do). It asks you to enter your old tire/diff values, and the new tire/diff values, then when you click apply it alters the speedo settings so that your shift points remain the same.

After thinking about it, I guess the idea is to maintain the same rpm at the shift point, so it does make sense from that angle.
I am a little slow, thanks Paul.
