Howdy, i just purchased EFI Live v2 today, will be here within next two days. I was wondering what pointers you can give me, before i start tuning. Looking forward to start tinkering with my truck!

Thanks

Edit:

I got my EFI live, and i just backed up my stock tune, and got everything installed. I'm looking at some tips to get me started, i've calibrated my speedometer and transmission shift points to my 33" tires. Just looking to get the most performance out of my truck.

Also install the latest software from here: Download V7 and V8 (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=124)

You can still play with the software until your FlashScan arrives... :hihi:

Got everything installed and stock tune backed up, calibrated my speedometer and shift points for increased tire size. Just looking for someone to give me some pointers, not just tell me what to do, but to explain why.

Thanks!

Try playing with your trans a bit. Joe posts some good data in here. Why you do these things will become pretty self explanatory when you experience the changes.
