I've been trying the Calc.VE tutorial, set everything up ...apparently wrong.

Followed this thread a bit

http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?14528-Calc.-VE-Tuning-Newbie-getting-started

Using weathermanshawn's calc_pids.txt(thanks)

I have a AEM Uego W02 hooked up to the V2 w/ a serial cable.

Went for a short drive just to make sure I set things up right, my maps don't look right, and I can't figure out why

I already changed the precision to 4

Setup wise its a '98 suburban k1500 with an 0411 swap, stock 5.7 (so far)

any direction is greatly appreciated.

:help2:

thanks!

On the menu tabs you have 'N' selected' instead of X.

N just gives you the number of samples, X gives you the average..You want X for the actual value..:)

Thanks shawn, I was in a rush last night and posted the wrong pic, I was playing around and changed a few things, so I'll do another run today. this is with it on the X :hihi:

How do I totally delete a map and start over? If I clear the current, the data is still in the properties box...

Try this Tutorial..http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/Interactive/How to Create a Map.htm (http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/Interactive/How%20to%20Create%20a%20Map.htm)

Some guys can explain it step by step (better than me), but I used all the Tutorials when I first started. Much better to learn step-by-step.

A new log should also give you fresh data. Make sure you have the proper pids selected for CALC.VE Table..http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/Calc.VE Tuning Tutorial.pdf (http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/Calc.VE%20Tuning%20Tutorial.pdf)

Good luck..

Looking better!

Don't forget to review all the Tutorial discussion and any threads you can on filtering out Throttle Transients etc.

Thats 75%+ of constructing a good CALC.VE Table..

Keep logging..
