Are you boosted...? Make the 105kPa columns the same in both VE tables.

Do you have a manifold referenced FPR (return style FPR, located at the fuel rail)...? If so then IFR B4001 should be flat across. Which injectors do you have...?

While tuning, it might be easier if DFCO B3313 is set higher to disable DFCO. You can re-enable it when finished tuning.

If you're trying to run SD (MAF-less) then in C6001 set P0101,2,3 to Non-Emissions, you want to get one of those DTC's in order to fail the MAF and run from pure VE.

Need to set the WOT downshift speeds lower than the WOT upshift speeds (otherwise it won't do the WOT shifts).

Set the Throttle Kickdown tables to 100% all across (otherwise it interferes with the PT upshift and downshift tables).

Increase the Base Pressure Shift tables, make a line going from (0,0) to (340ftlb,90psi) and then flat above that.
Then control shift feel by lowering the Shift Time curves (say to 0.3s) and playing with the Torque Reduction curves.

:)

Which wideband do you have...?

Do you have FlashScan V2 or V1...?

Thanks for the response..... Yes I am boosted 72mm turbo a GM 2 bar MAP and I have the MAF still installed for the IAT. Fuel is returnless and Im using the 8.1 injectors(32lbs).
I took care of all you sugested except for the Injector (B4001). Do I still need to do it? Using LM1 meter and V2. I would like to run off the commanded maps and not use PE. Is this something you would suggest?

thanks again

If your fuel system is returnless, then your IFR table is correct in being sloped, so leave it sloped.

Are you getting the AFR from the LM1 to the V2 using the serial comms cable...?

You can run either way (PE or non-PE) provided you command the AFR sufficiently rich at high load, it works either way.

Make sure that one of the three MAF DTC's shows up... this verifies that you're running SD (exclusively from VE table).

Yes I have the LM1 connected to the V2 through the serial........ I still have the MAF connected for the IAT. Do I need to disconnect any of the wires on it or is it going to cause any problems.
thank you I will try some more tuning tomorrow

MAF sensor wires can stay connected... you failed the MAF in the calibration (under Engine Diagnostics -> MAF).

If one of the MAF DTC's pops up then you can be certain that it's running purely from the VE table...

check that one of those DTC's triggers... if it doesn't, then set those 3 DTC's to 1-Trip in C6001.

Why would the timing go to 0 when I give it more than 50% throttle?...and stays there. I cant find any parameter that would cause this.

Have a look at A0010, it subtracts from spark timing.

Also, log the EST_xxxx_DMA pids to see where timing is coming from or going to.

Thanks Joe, so far everything works great except for WOT as soon as I see over 3lbs of boost the truck starts surging.... fuel is on the rich side(10.3) and timing is now 17-15deg .....I dont think its because of fuel....

Do you get any DTC's (other than the MAF ones)...?

Post some log files of when it surges.
