I can get my files transfered to the Auto Cal fine, but when I plug into the car it says options missing on the display. All of the tunes are there but if I try to load one into the ecu I get a $0502?

Any help would be great!!

Given that error code and the fact is says missing Options it is simply a case of the AutoCal device having not been configured. You need to contact the tuner or workshop who provided you with the AutoCal for resolution.

I'm having the exact same problem. But I am now 2 states away from my tuning shop. Will I need to send my
AutoCal device back to them to get it configured or will I be able to have it done by just sending files on my laptop?
I was able to install the tune in my car by using EFILive Scan and Tune Version8 on my laptop, plugging my laptop into the AutoCal,
while also having the AutoCal plugged into the OBDII port on car. But don't want to have to always carry around my laptop
with me to change tunes.

Your tuner "should" be able o resolve the issue for you without sending back the AutoCal device. They will simple just need to provide the correct preconfigured device settings, and then have you implement them locally with the V8 software you've already used.
