Scanner is wierd

I'll go thru at home and set up my dashboard A, B and then when I open it up again they are different. I'll validate my PID's then when I open them up later I have to do it again. Perfect example I just opened up the duramax imperial, validated my pids and set up a custom dashbard on B and C then logged data. Saved it then when I went to look at the log file, my PIDs on my dashpage were different. Whats up with that, am I missing somethings?

Did you save each of the gauges/charts (on the gauge or chart do rightclick->Save or rightclick->Save-As)...?

what is the diff between dashboard and dashpage? After I validate the PID"s how do I save them so don't have to revalidate after I hook up everytime.

Dashpage = one of pages A or B or C.

Dashboard = the collection of all 3 of A and B and C.

Are you edit/modfiy a gauge or a chart, save it.

Also, save the Dashboard... if it's not the default Dashboard, then you have to open it when starting the scantool.

After validating pids: on the PIDs tab, press the Save As button (on the PIDs tab toolbar).
