Hi There,

I have a log here from a VE SS GEN4 L76 A6 with AFM.
You’ll notice the octane scaler is very erratic. I first thought it might be something to do with going in and out of AFM mode but at one point during WOT the octane scaler is still all over the place with no KR detected.

I have only logged a few E38’s. My non-AFM never did this but both of the AFM vehicles I have logged seem to do this at times.

Any ideas what might cause this, if it’s normal or how to prevent it?

Cheers

It's like the Octane Scaler has two or more modes and varies with TPS or similar. Or maybe GM changed the memory location of the data. :(

What OS is that car running? It's like the PID is not correct.

Was there any resolution to this? Was it a bug? I'm using the same OS on a MY10 and the octane scalar looks abit odd. It def isnt running off the Low octane table as its about 9.5deg at the point where the cursor is in the screen shot.
