can u get any better gas mileage out of a 5.7 vortec with efi tuneing im a diesel guy dont know much abouth tuneing a gas motor

If the 5.7 L Vortec engine is controlled by an LS1-B style PCM (OEM or “0411” swap) enabling Lean Cruise for improved fuel economy may be an option - depending on the OS.
