Lately I have been having issues with the serial interface.

My LM1 appears to read fine on the LCD display... but I keep getting this through the serial connection:

I have changed sensors and what not.... I can read WOT fine through the display of the LM1.... I will do a log today through the LM1 software to see how it goes.

Thanks

Make sure you have the latest software (V7.5.6.139) and FlashScan firmware (V2.07.04) installed.

If the WO2 AFR reading is spiking to 25.00 (Lambda 1.701) that is indicative of corrupted data being received by FlashScan.
When FlashScan receives data that it cannot decipher it displays those values.

Things to check
1. Try to keep the serial cable under 10 feet long (15 feet at most).
2. Don't have the serial cable coiled up tightly.
3. Make sure all wires and connections are free from breaks and/or damage.
4. Make sure the WO2 and FlashScan are grounded at the same voltage level. You may need to use a multimeter to measure the voltage drop between pins 4 & 5 on the OBDII connecter (top center two pins) and the ground connection for the LM1. The voltage drop should be less than 50 millivolts.
