Ok i'm gonna be using an LC-1 but haven't done this before on efilive. I know when I used to use HPT you would get say an afr 13.0 and if you were commanding 14.7 you would divide 13/14.7=.88 then you would take that cell on the VE table and multiply it by .88 and in theory should bring you to the 13 afr. How do you do it in efi live? Thanks.

Same way..You may be oversimplifying the procedure though..:).

Check out the AUTOVE Tutorial...http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/AutoVE Tuning Tutorial.pdf (http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/AutoVE%20Tuning%20Tutorial.pdf).

If you are still using MAF or going to utilize closed-loop, then check out this method..http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/Calc.VE Tuning Tutorial.pdf (http://download.efilive.com/Tutorials/PDF/Calc.VE%20Tuning%20Tutorial.pdf).

Good luck..

Yes same way, but as Shawn said you have to filter out transient throttle conditions...

Greg Banish's book Designing and Tuning High-Performance Fuel Injection Systems (http://www.amazon.com/Designing-Tuning-High-Performance-Injection-Systems/dp/1932494901/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1292622923&sr=8-2) explains why.
