Hi Guys

downloaded EFILive v4 on eval and want to try this out with my vxr8.

looking at the select vechiel section i dont know what file to load.

anyone have any ideas on how i can get up and running.

Hi tark,

This vehicle is not supported by the old EFILive V4 software (I've also moved the thread to this category). To support this vehicle you'll need the FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune product. As you must be in or around the UK you can get this product from EFI Solution Europe (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=37&Itemid=96).

You can download the Version 7 software (it will run in Demo Mode without registration) if you want to see the Scan and Tune tools you'd use for your vehicle.

thanks for the quick reply, i am in the UK and will have a look at version 7, could you tell me what the Demo mode will allow and not allow

It will not allow you to save changes to a calibration. Also you obviously cannot read or flash a vehicle without having the physical FlashScan hardware interface. It will let you see the basic operation and functionality of the Scan and Tune tool software essentially.
