98 Vortec trouble reading with 7.5..but v8 worked?

Hey guys i was just wanting to maybe have some insight...i tried multiple times recently to read on a 98 vortec and with 7.5 i had no luck at all, i tried multiple times. But then i tried with v8 and it read flawlessly. However, i had no touble whatsoever flashing the controller with 7.5? Maybe it was just "one of those things". Just throwing that out there. Thanks and continue the excellent work!

Hey man i appreciate it... i know sometimes things wierd just happen...the truck is gone now, i could get access to it again after Christmas...i should of tried doing a trace file or whatever.

When you attempted to read it using V7.5, the V7.5 software would have saved a trace file (*.blx) file.
The file can be found in the folder: \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\Bug Reports
The file will be called YYYYMMDD_HHNNSS_upload.blx
where YYYYMMDD_HHNNSS is the date and time that you attempted to read the truck.
If you can send the file to me at paul@efilive.com I will take a look to see what went wrong.
