I have a thread on my E38 running and there are 3 pages of replies. I'm not receiving the e-mail from my thread subscription. It is supposed to be going to my comcast.net address and it's not making it here to my PC.

Anyone else having issues or is it just me?

Eazel Dawn(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:01:08 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>Our filters have determined that email from your mail server has been sent in patterns which are characteristic of spam. In an effort to protect subscribers, your mail server has been blocked from sending email to the Comcast network. Mail servers are typically shared by many users so it may be the case that another party using your mail server has sent spam, even if you have not.
Eazel Dawn(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:01:33 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>It is important that your email administrator is aware of their outbound spam problem to avoid being blocked by Comcast in the future. When contacting your email administrator, you should include the error message contained in the email which alerted you to this problem.
Eazel Dawn(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:01:45 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>This error message contains important information to help your email administrator resolve this issue. Removal requests can be sent to www.comcastsupport.com/rbl and will require the IP address of the blocked mail server. Requests submitted through this form are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure a timely response.
Elmer_(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:02:07 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>Ok, I understand that but the site is a "car" site that talks about tuning and technical talk on cars.

Elmer_(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:03:05 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>Um, so I need to tell the guys in Australia that they need to send comcast a message to get the e-mail flowing again?
Eazel Dawn(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:03:41 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>No Elmer, you can go to the link and fill out the information to unblock the site.
Elmer_(Wed Dec 22 2010 11:04:03 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time))>Sigh, ok. I'll go to the link.

Our mail server is absolutely not an open relay. I'll visit the link and enter the ip addresses for our amil server and hopefully they'll remove the blacklist. It may have been a hangover from the previous owner of the IP addresses that we got allocated, although that would a be a couple of years ago now...

I know all too well your situation. The LS2 server was upgraded to a newer server and the IP we switched to was a monster! It took MANY contacts to people all over the place to get it's reputation cleared. Funny though, I just got a mail from you on this thread. I did make a report but surely it can't change that quickly.

Whatever, I'm sure everything will settle down just fine.

When we got the IP addresses located I went straight away to RBL sites to test for known matches. From memory there was one of the IPs which was flagged and I tried to have it changed at the time (unsuccessfully). I made requests to the RBL owners that had a listing and thought it was resolved. I've just made a submission to Comcast also so hopefully it will be resolved on their network anyway...

Cheers,
