Supercharged 08 silverado 5.3

Hi there,

I have to tune a supercharged silverado 5.3L using a Whipple kit , they provided a superchip uploader together with the kit and the owner has been using it so far. I'm wondering if you guys had any experience with a similar configuration. What i'm wondering is do i have to put back the stock file in the car or can i work on the one that was uploaded.

Id go back to stock, then build a true 2Bar tune using EFILive. Its going to be much better in the end, Ive witnessed horror stories on here and other forums where people dont start with the base file and a week later (+40hrs) they're having weird surging or weird spark knock at WOT (something that shouldnt be happening). Sometimes the handhelds tune stuff that we cant see/correct in EFILive, if that happens then all bets are off.

Get the stock file, install a wideband O2, and tune it using MAF only!!!
