This is a 5.7 motor from a vette(w/trans-am OS 12212156) installed in a Sandcar(off-road)...I must be missing something because the owner wants rev limiter set at 7500 RPM's and Sandcar keeps hitting rev limiter at 6750....I feel like I've gone thru everything but still hits rev limiter at 6750....maybe someone can take a look at tune and find something obvious that I'm overlooking...:doh2:

Thanks in advance...:D

I don't see anything in the Tune that would cut fuel off at 6750 Rpms..Unless he is exceeding H0109 of 160 MPH, it must be something mechanical...

Hello Gameover,

Nice tune … didn’t see anything that would definitively cause the RPM issue. I made a few small changes to the tune - these may not make any difference.

Give it a try … if the issue persists, I’m with WeathermanShawn – potential mechanical / systemic issue.

Regards,
Taz

I didn't see anything that stood out...

After seeing Shawn's post, I did notice that the speedo parameters don't seem to make sense.

After seeing Taz's post, I see that P0608 is disabled and am wondering if this DTC would be been triggered for any reason...?

What's with the high-lighted differences?

Alrighty guys, I'm starting to think it's a mechanical issue also...I did try TAZ's tune but issue remains...Maybe it's for the best because owner has an $25,000 Sequential Shift transaxle that he's broken before because he didn't have a rev limiter on his other Standalone Engine Management system...:D

Sid447, thats where I adjust for Tachometer...Autometer is usually around 3-4 pulses(sometimes higher but it's rare)...The Tach signal doesn't always work with the stock setting at 6...This is for fine tuning so FlashScan V2 and tach are dead nutz the same....
