Log and Download

I received my Personal edition from Trippen today and have a few questions. I have printed all 300 + pages of instructions and am overwhelmed .

1. If I just plug the Flashscan into my truck, will it log everything (no laptop connected)? I believe I have my laptop setup to recognize the Flashcan.

2. Is it easy to forward what is logged to another user for a tune?

3. Can you reference page numbers for the basic stuff?

Jack,

To make a copy of your stock data to send to another user for tuning:

1) Hook the cable up to your truck.
2) Launch the tuning software.
3) Turn the key to the on posistion.
4) After the truck had gone through it's initial checks (approx. 10 seconds) select the icon that looks like a little micro chip with a green arrow pointing up.
5) Select your PCM type. (I'm assuming LB7)
6) Select "start"
7) Sit back and watch the progress screen for approx. 2 minutes.
Save the file as Jacks_stock_tun and E-mail to me at gtripp@earthlink.net
