dsp 2 switch not working on 01 lb7

Hey guys I just installed my dsp2 switch on my 01 lb7 and I had Nick at Duramaxtuner.com make me a daily driver tune and a smoke tune, so I know the tunes are good but what it seems like is happening is its stuck on the daily driver tune and will not switch to the smoke tune, so what I was thinking is happening is the ground may not be in there good enough or the ground cable has a break in it somewhere and its not grounding out and allowing it to switch. Does this sound like a possibility? Is there anyway to check with the scan tool to see if its working properly, and if there is how?
