Have you just updated from the 2.04.x firmware to 2.05.x and later? If so is your device asking repeatedly to upgrade licenses (or similar)? If so please email me (support@efilive.com) an I can email you some instructions to resolve the issue (more than likely). If it is the issue I expect it is due to first not having updated to 2.04.72 firmware as described in the firmware update documentation.

When usign the old 'EFILIve Firmware Programmer' application you nned to hold down the CTRL key on the FlashScan V2 keypad while plugging in the USB cable. This puts the device in to 'deadpoll' mode. Hopefully that will allow you to perform that initial update to 2.04.72.
