I just learned to tune using the CalcVE and AutoVE tutorials and it worked great. I have a friend that has a 2010 camaro who wants it tuned. I told him i'd do it for him, I looked at a stock tune and WOW. Where do I start lol, there isn't (that I seen) a VE table. And I don't understand the VVE, VVT right now. I think i'll just back away from this one for now lol.

Hi Tim,
Have a read thru this thread (read the whole thread): showthread.php?8961-E38-VVE-Setup-Guide (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?8961-E38-VVE-Setup-Guide)
With E38/E67, the VE table has been replaced with sets of VE polynomial coefficients (Virtual VE);
the EFILive tunetool maps the polynomial coefficients to a 3D table which can then be edited it in a manner similar to the LS1 VE table.
Variable Valve Timing has to be accounted for in some manner during tuning.
I agree, you would want to practice more before tuning your friend's E38.
