Boot block, etc..

Tried to flash the PCM in the 05 Hummer. Got boot block error.
Had 7.5.6.116 version and boot block 2.04.47.
Have since updated the scan program to 7.5.6 build 139, and updated the boot block to 2.06.02, and the scan firmware to 2.06.12.
When I use the firmware/boot block updater, I get this message:
"device is upgraded to boot block 2.05.xx or greater.
programmer can only be used to program devices w/ boot block 2.04.xx, or less.
Use explorer to program devices w/ bl 2.05.xx or>"
Haven't tried to flash, as I'm not sure these updates are what I need..
I don't have a spare pcm.:doh2:

Carefully read the attached doc.

2.04.xx requires the EFILive Firmware Programmer program [from V7] (to program in 2.04.72 which is required before going further, see doc).

2.05.xx and above requires the EFILive Explorer program [from V8] (which programs the newer bootblock/firmware pairs, see doc).
