Laptop Recommendations

My tuning laptop died. Any suggestions on what to buy? My tuning is just for fun so I would like to keep the cost down but I don't want to buy something cheap that I will be sorry about later. What minimum features should I look for? Thanks for the help.

The most intensive application used on a PC running EFILive is without question scanning/logging realtime data. If you typically use FlashScan V2 BBL (Black Box Logging) then you are only reviewing logs, and not recording in realtime. This results in a far lower spec laptop than you would need otherwise.

I bought a small HP Mini Netbook which is fine for viewing/editing. It can keep up with logging if I'm on the Gauge pages, not it struggles when on the Graph page.

I'd say pretty much anything that you'd buy new nowadays will be fine.
