View Full Version : T42 Pid for modes of transmission??????

Hey guys , Is there a pid to monitor the four tranny mode. NORMAL,PATTERN "A", "B" or HOT State.

Thanks paul. I couldnt find it scan and tune so will have to try loading it through explorer to my file, or do the testing with the laptop.

In the version 8 software its called TSTATE07, but after closer investigation it turns out that PID is only available on the Allison transmission controllers.
I'll see if I can find anything else that may help for the T42...

The PID you want (in the V8 software) is TBASEPAT. Unfortunately we haven't mapped out its various values. For now it will just change value depending on the mode the transmission is using.
I'll try and get it mapped out asap.

Thanks Paul, I found that pid the other day and did some testing and it seems to have picked up data when the converter unlocks. Good to know that I am on the right track.
