View Full Version : Why can't I download bin. files???

I've tryed a couple of different files and I can download tun. files, but it states " This action is only valid for products that are currently installed" and it won't let me download bin. files.

I used to be able to download any file and open it with the tuner software (like HP tuners files) to look at and/or save them..

What is the deal now? Did I do something wrong?

Sounds like the *.bin file extension has been associated with an application on your PC and that application has been uninstalled.

Just right click on the *.bin file download link and select "Save as" (or Save Target as") then choose a place to save the file.

I figured it out, I just cut the file out of the temp file after it is downloaded and pasted it with my other bin. and tun. files in EFIlive, then it will open.

Still odd though, because before all I had to do was to tell it to open the file with EFIlive Tuning Tool and it opened, then I saved it..etc

What i do is.. when I download the file (I click "open with") I cut it from the window it is in right after it is downloaded (Ctrl x) and then go where my other EFIlive files are and paste it there, then I click on it and it opens.. from there I rename the file and delete the original.
