Thanks very much for the thoughts! There was a large magnitude 7 earthquake in Christchurch in September last year. Amazingly on that occasion there were no casualties. This time it is sadly not the case. Already there have been 65 confirmed fatalities, and it will no doubt get a lot worse :(

Fortunately the New Zealand portion of the EFILive team are in the North Island, which was unaffected.

My girlfriend told me about the earthquake there. First thing I thought of was the efilive guys. Glad your ok, but sorry to hear about the people who did not survive.
