Please Help Two yellow flashing lights

Please help i installed the newest update and my flashscan v2 started flashing two yellow lights and it hasnt stopped. Now everytime i plug it in it just flashes. How do you fix this. Thanks

Hello Mike,

Sounds like the V2 is in “dead poll mode” (i.e. under Bootblock control). Try updating / programming the Firmware into the V2 - using EFILive Explorer.

In EFILive Explorer - F12 is the Firmware tab - make sure the “Bootblock” box does NOT have a check mark in it.

The flashing lights indicate that the device is in deadpoll mode. This typically occurs when you have performed a bootblock update and the device does not have valid firmware installed. Please see these knowledgebase articles relating to software and firmware updates:
