Swapping ECM, process

Hey guys,
Going to be working on the LB7 that's having some lope issues... first i'm going to full flash a stock OS into it and see if it starts to work and if so, re-apply it in the DSP5 tune, on the basis that maybe his PPE programmer left some residual stuff in there from previously.

I would also like to try swapping in an ECM that I know works with a lope tune, curious if I can swap ECM's from the two trucks and do a VATS re-link without needing new vin licenses, and then swap them back when I'm done testing....if it is possible then what is the procedure to properly unlock and re-link an ECM in the LB7?

You should be able to swap ECMs fine. If they are both licensed to your FlashScan V2 already there will be no additional licenses used in that swap process. Process wise (while having never done it personally on an LB7) I would imagine that you would just perform the VATS link process. Others might chime in here if there is more required.
