I have an E40 PCM on an LS2 that I am using in a project car. this is the first time I have tried to look at the PCM. When I connect the flashscanV2 to the PCM with out the computer I can get vin info etc. When I connect it all up to the computer and try to do a read PCM calibrations using EFI tune it just keeps attempting to connect and say PCM not found ecm not found. I have another car with an LS1 in and it all works fine with that.
Am I missing something simple as it's driving me mad:confused::confused:help2:

UPDATE: Thought I'd give it a go with the old laptop running windows XP rather than Windows 7 and guess what it worked first time. Haven't got the foggiest why but I'm happy now

Windows 7 is fine. I've personally been running it since beta and have had no issue whatsoever. It is a fully supported platform for EFILive.

Please make sure you have the latest software and FlashScan v2 firmware. It is important that all components are kept up-to-date as they all have a codependency with each other.

EDIT: Download the software from HERE (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?15845-March-05-2011-release-candidate-2)

Here are a couple of knowledgebase articles that relates to software and firmware updates:
