it will go through it 10 tries to check status and then gives me the status unknown msg. I've disconnected all aftermarket equipment and tried with and without highspeed and Alt keys enabled. I have a good connection and the obdII port appears to be functional.
Ver 8.1.2 build 115 and 7.5.6 build 113

Hi MM,
You should update your V7/V8 software from here: March-05-2011-release-candidate-2 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?15845-March-05-2011-release-candidate-2)
After updating V8, also update the V2 firmware.

Here are a couple of knowledgebase articles that relates to software and firmware updates:
- Software

As Joe says get that RC2 release though.

Yeah I'll get her updated asap. I haven't got a chance to mess with the truck anymore.

sorry it took so long to update you guys,,, after updated and trying a few more times i let the vehicle be over night. Went out and it connected with no further issues. I've had a few trucks do this to me from time to time and not really sure why but it no biggie now. thanks!
