View Full Version : Is there a way to make the pcm use the p/n idle airflow tables?

It would really help on a auto trans to get the idle 100% right....

the pcm always uses the in gear tables and when you change from park to drive in a cammed car... it bugs a bit...

Isn't there a setting or two for vehicle speed versus idle mode? let me see...

B3807 and B3808 might allow longer time using idle trim cells...
B4102,3,4 might also allow extension of idle fueling...

Here we go - B0107 and B0108 set max limits on speed and tps for idle mode. You might also need to adjust the max idle rpm a little higher for the cam. Also consider the minimum idle learn temperature (B4501) - if you have a cooler tstat, you might need to lower B4501 to allow more learning to occur at (cooler) startup conditions.

Also check the new rolling idle tables (B4333,4,5) for possible help.
