LC-1 serial connection question

I have had my V2 hooked to my LC-1 through the analog wires, and my tuner told me it appears to not be reading properly. He told me to connect it using the serial cable. I read the instructions, and it states:
FlashScan V2 Setup
1. Connect the serial cable between V2 and your WB controller

My V2 does not have a serial plug in it. Does anyone have a pic of how they are connecting it? I can not find anywhere how to connect this.
